Today I finally watched Ice Princess with my Dad. We both really liked it a lot. Re-reading HBP to my mom is still going slow. We do two chapters every other day, and he *still* has not arrived at Hogwarts. However, so far I have run across 1 typo, a few gramatical errors and several run on sentances, the longest being four entire lines long. I guess no one's perfect. Sometimes I wonder if I shuld be a book editor. It's somehow so much easier to spot these things in other peoples writing than my own. Reading it out loud really helps though.
Regarding Harry/Ginny, Mrs. Rowling said, "Well I always knew that that was going to happen, that they were going to come together and then part." Hmmm...
She also said there will be death eater children from the other houses of hogwarts, not just slytherin. That's really interesting...I can't believe there is only one book left.
And, she said what Harry is setting out to do in the seventh book is not the entire throughline of the rest of the story.
She said "Obviously it's not all of it, but still, that is the way to kill Voldemort. That's not to say it won't be extremely an torturous and winding journey, but that's what he's got to do. Harry now knows — well he believe he knows – what he’s facing. Dumbledore's guesses are never very far wide of the mark. I don't want to give too much away here, but Dumbledore says, ‘There are four out there, you've got to get rid of four, and then you go for Voldemort.’ So that's where he is, and that's what he's got to do."
So they might go to school after. *hopes*
